Hotel Parking: Parking is $26/day by valet and $18 with self parking. With valet you have unlimited in-out privileges. With self-parking the rate increases to $26 if you want to go in and out. Click here for the FFF links page which has links to more parking info.
Hotel Reservations
Although rooms are still available, this close to the event, the Westin is no longer accepting online reservations nor reservations through their national toll free number. This way the hotel ensures that a vanilla family of four does not accidentally book a room by the pool! Rooms are still available at the hotel, but only by calling directly to Group Coordinator JoAnn Algasso at 401.598.8042 or emailing her at Joann.Algasso AT westinprovidence.com
The Official Policy for Booking Rooms at the Westin
Two night minimum. In order to take the whole hotel, we have to ensure rooms are sold for both Friday and Saturday nights. So you have to take the Friday and the Saturday night. You can take more nights, but it's a minimum of Friday and Saturday night.
30-day notice is required for cancellation. A valid credit card must be used to make reservations. If cards are found to be invalid, the reservation will be canceled by the hotel with no notice to the cardholder. Your card will not be actually charged until 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. On that date, the entire cost of the reservation is charged, and no refunds can be issued.
Prior to the 30-day cut off, a reservation can be canceled normally without penalty.
After the 30-day cutoff, if someone finds they cannot attend, they can transfer their room to someone else by changing the name on the reservation. Reimbursement for cost of the room must be worked out between the two parties, not involving the hotel or NELA.
